On Saturday, July 27, Street Capital Entertainment dazzled Greenville with the glitzy and glamorous “It’s Hair Battle 2K24,” hosted at the chic Greenville Convention Center. The event transformed 1 Exposition Dr into a hub of style and flair, where five sensational hairstylists competed for a dazzling $5000 cash prize. Guiding the evening’s festivities was the charismatic Lovely Big O as the host.

The night was not just about hair; it was an all-out celebration. Street Capital Entertainment pulled out all the stops. Guests were treated to electrifying live performances by Street Capitals own. Event goers seen just how dynamic Oz the God and NBT Wop are with each performance. If that was not enough, the room filled with indulgent food, refreshing drinks, and exciting prize giveaways. From show start to finish the event kept the energy high.

From poison ivy, to oompa lompas, and 90’s flair each stylist brought something different.

The competition was fierce, showcasing a parade of hair artistry. Laqunda B, Lashiza Gilliard, Konceited Ken (our runner-up), Ashley Michelle Jackson, and Tierra Oldham brought their A-game. It was Ashley Michelle Jackson who stole the spotlight with her standout creations. Guest could not believe their eyes.

Taking it back over the years Ashley Michelle Jackson emerged as the star of the evening. Ms. Jackson highlighted styles like braided head pieces, 90’s box braids, half up half down updos, scalp braids, and braided ponytails. The transition look was a blonde asymmetrical wavy bob that was cut on stage. Ashley was able to pay tribute to her late mother while clinching the coveted first-place spot with her stunning throwback hairstyles. The judges thought her creativity and skill set her apart from the competition, earning her the top prize of $5000 and the admiration of the people in attendance.
