11/11 of 23 The Garden of Hip Hop Festival, a celebration of Atlanta's vibrant music scene, unfolded with unparalleled energy and excitement. Hosted by Shar Bates(@iamsharbates) and Fort Knox(@fortknoxlive) at Terry Skywalker’s (@terryskywalker) Bonfire ATL, the festival was graced by the presence of legends DJ Scream  (@djscream) and NuFace(@nuface) both honored by District 58 State Representative Park Cannon(@parkcannon58) by way of Porchse Miller(@porchsequeenmiller) The festival was sponsored by Georgia Spartans (@georgiaspartans) and the art given to Dj Scream and NuFace was sponsored by Keith Phillips from Black Box Art Gallery.

The event boasted a stellar lineup of live performances, with artists like @norrisgurganious @renegade_el_rey @charlisej @daneekstar @bonitasings @2point0tnt @onemoon.omg @lynn_tate @ydktm1 @the_champp @bobbicool , each adding their unique flair to the festival's musical tapestry. Dj Swamp Izzo (@swampizzo), Dj Knotts (@djknotts), and ATL's own DJ Calvin Da Coordinator(@djcalvinatl) set the stage on fire with their soundtracks, while the festival provided much more than just music.

From engaging activities for all ages to free vegan food samples, food vendors, bounce houses, DJ classes, and an array of workshops in graffiti, gardening, and Hip Hop dance, the event embraced the rich tapestry of Hip Hop culture. Shar Bates and Dj Scream did a live interview & Dj Meet & Greet. Toni Jones (@iamtonijones graced the event with a Live Performance & Meditation. Faith first fitness (@faithfirstfitness) provided activities as a Field Day Coach. The awesome Dj Roots Queen (@djrootsqueen) provided super cool Live Dj Classes. I loved to see Ultra Black Farmer (@ultrablackfarmer) providing educational Garden Classes. I was super impressed by Tomafit (@tomafit) offering Breakdance Classes.

The festival also housed a special Hip Hop Exhibit curated with memorabilia from NuFace, gaming tournaments, holistic health vendors, cannabis business education, and arts & crafts, creating a space where creativity and community thrived.

The palpable energy, diverse performances, and the recognition of esteemed figures like DJ Scream and NuFace made this festival a true celebration of the essence of Hip Hop, uniting enthusiasts and artists alike in an unforgettable experience.
