Southside Crip Keefe D was arrested on September 29, in relation to the slaying of super star Tupac Shakur just in time for the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of hip hop. My question, is it all one big conidence or is there something behind the timing of Keefe D's sudden arrest? He has always been a suspect in the execution of the icon but police say they've never had sufficient evidence to bring Keefe D whose real name is Duane Keith Davis to justice.
Davis has made many damning statements over the years in connection to the killing. One could be surprised or insulted by the fact that he has remained out of prison for as long as he has. After his bail hearing on October 19th we can rest assured he is not getting out as this resulted in his bail being denied by the judge. The list goes on and on when it comes to places and times Davis made careless statements just because he could. His most egregious statement to date in my option is him stating "Tupac's death was merely collateral damage" this alone is enough for him to rest in feet in a chair laced in electricity while wearing a tin hat.

There are a few things that were mentioned by the police and others that drove the case back into the spotlight. In 2018 BET aired a series called Death Row Chronicles. This is where Davis made the public statements about the shooting that caused the police to review the case and confirm that it remained open. The search of his ex wife's home in July this year rendered a copy of his 2019 memoire Compton Street Legend which further detailed the shooting. Honestly the bread crumbs were left so clearly that they may just lead to a trap.
I am going to proceed giving a brief breakdown of a number of situations that are prevalent to the case, as they are public knowledge that can be found easily if you take the time to look for them. The “facts” will affect the court's ability to use them as there is no way to select a jury that doesn't have access to or more than likely already have extensive knowledge about the high profile murder, as well as a strong negative opinion of the well known man who is presently behind bars for his death.

Davis went to Green Blats to meet with Diddy back in 1995. Diddy informed him that he wanted to pay him one million dollars to kill Tupac and Suge Knight. Simply because he didn't like Suge's performance at that year's Source Awards nor was he happy with the release, context, or success of Tupac's new hit single "Hit Em Up ''. Davis said he never agreed to do the job at the time of the request. In July Davis' nephew and fellow crip member Orlando Anderson robbed Suge Knight's employee Travon Lane of his Death Row chain at Lakewood Mall.
On September 7 Anderson was spotted alone by Tupac and the Death Row entourage in Vagas, the sighting erupted in a violent attack. Tupac can be seen on the surveillance video of the MGM Grand Las Vegas throwing the first punch. If only he knew what would follow he may have kept his hands to himself that night. After Anderson was attacked Davis disclosed Tupac and Suge death’s became ominously personal.
Davis claims he got a .40 glock from Foxy Brown's friend Zip before setting out to Club 622 that was owned by Suge Knight at the time. In the car with Davis who was sitting in the passenger seat was Terrence "Bubble Up" Brown (driver), DeAndrea "Freaky" Smith (behind Davis) and Orlando Anderson (behind driver). After waiting hours for Tupac to arrive at the club they decided to leave. As they made their way from the club they spotted Tupac as he stuck his head out the window to greet some of his fans who were screaming his name.

They made a u-turn and pulled up on the side of the car where Tupac sat defenseless in the passenger seat while Knight was in the driver's seat stopped at the light. Tupac never knew what was coming as Anderson shot a barrage of bullets at the vehicle stealing Shakur's life before it truly got started. Davis also revealed that the south side crew never received the 500,000 dollar payment from Diddy after the killing.
When Diddy responded to these allegations he told US Weekly they were "pure fiction and completely ridiculous". He was the only one who thought so then and he's the only that thinks so now. Davis is presently the only surviving person involved in the murder of Shakur so the police are naming him the orchestrator of the crime. Whether former police detective Greg Kading, author of the infamous Murder Rap, will take the stand in the case is not clear. Suge Knight has already declared he will not be testifying against Keefe D, added he will serve everyday in contempt of court before he is forced to take the stand in this pending case.

Davis’ quote "Real gangsters are nothing to play with. It's just another day at the office" which is what he said in reference to this crime should be the opening statement of the D.A. and the rest of the story will tell itself the same way Tupac’s has been doing in his absence. The need for this article is just more proof that a rose truly did grow from concrete and now a bush stands in its presence, not to be left alone in the time of struggle, all the while leaving us all to still wonder if "Heaven Has A Ghetto". Remember Darling, the show must go on and in good fashion.
